ETHNOGRAPHIC RESEARCH

As lead researcher, I formulated a system to streamline synthesis and clipping of 24/7 video footage of in home ethnography of 12 participants with 2 cameras for duration of 2 weeks.

SYNTHESIS

Organized & distilled data of participants by mapping participants over variables to identify patterns and key findings with assistance from a fellow designer more removed from research.

PERSONAS & JOURNEY Maps

Distilling endless data from participants into personas after finding patterns by mapping participants along variables.

Patterns arose that captured "instigators" and follow-up actions that were captured in an activities map, with additional section in the workshop for clients to contribute new opportunities.
